Aluminum mesh screen
Most folks think of aluminum mesh gutter screen products when they think of leaf protection. And while we do offer this as an option for those homes with little leaf accumulation on their roofs, not all screens are alike. Our drop-in screens are made of thick 0.27 gauge aluminum which will outperform those plastic sections available at your local home improvement store, which will buckle and crack from climate changes through the seasons. Simple to install, they require no nailing or screwing into the roof.
Eco Guard from Spectra Metals
Our second level (and most popular) leaf protection is Eco Guard. Made of durable aluminum, guaranteed not to chip, crack, peel or rust, this product's unique raised ridges allow for airflow to lift leaves and debris from the top of the gutters so as to prevent clogging. The secret to this unique system is the diamond-shaped holes for letting water through. If you remember the old percolators for making coffee, the holes were round in order to slowly let the water drip onto the grounds. With the diamond shape, water pours quickly through the openings to prevent overflow. This is a completely enclosed gutter system which prohibits nesting in the gutters.
